Osteopathy should not be painful. I work with soft techniques. You may feel mild soreness afterwards, similar to after exercise. This passes within 24–48 hours.

How many sessions will I need?

For acute pain, 2–4 sessions usually suffice. For chronic conditions, 6–10 sessions. Every case is different.

Is it covered by insurance?

Osteopathy is not covered by Czech public health insurance. Many supplementary plans partially or fully reimburse it. I provide payment receipts.

What happens at the first visit?

We start with a thorough case history, then a full postural analysis and movement assessment. An osteopathic session takes 45–60 minutes.

These terms govern the relationship between the provider of osteopathic services and the client when booking and using services through activeosteopathy.cz.

Services

Osteopathic sessions in practice (Prague — Smíchov, Jindřichův Hradec), online consultations, educational workshops and lectures. The scope and price of each service is listed in the Pricing section.

Booking

Bookings are made online via the booking system or by e-mail. A booking is binding upon confirmation and payment. You provide truthful and complete information when booking.

Payment

Payments are made in advance via the payment gateway or on site. A receipt is sent by e-mail after payment.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule free of charge no later than 24 hours before the session. Later cancellations or no-shows are charged the full price, except in cases of acute illness or similar.

Online consultations

Online consultations run on Google Meet. The client must have a stable internet connection, camera and microphone. If the session cannot take place for technical reasons, it is rescheduled at no charge.

Complaints

Issues are handled individually. Submit a complaint by e-mail to info@activeosteopathy.cz with a description. We respond within 30 days.

Liability

Osteopathy does not replace medical care. The client is obliged to disclose all health limitations and current medication. The provider is not liable for damage caused by withholding essential information.

Validity

These terms are valid as of May 2026. The current version is always available on the website. Matters not regulated by these terms are governed by the Czech Civil Code.
